Edge of Eternity (1959) - Imprint Collection #674
Don Siegel’s CinemaScope crime thriller Edge of Eternity stars Cornel Wilde (Leave Her to Heaven) and Victoria Shaw (Westworld), and was shot on location at the Grand Canyon.
When a string of murders surfaces around a dying Arizona mining town, deputy sheriff Les Martin finds himself drawn into a dangerous investigation, helped by socialite heiress Janice Kendon, whose family's gold mine sits at the heart of the case. As the body count rises and the killer closes in, the pursuit moves from the dusty streets of Oatman to the sheer rock faces of the Canyon itself, and finally to a heart-stopping climax aboard a tramcar suspended a thousand feet above the gorge floor.
Shot by two-time Oscar-winning cinematographer Burnett Guffey (Bonnie and Clyde), the film also stars Mickey Shaughnessy (From Here to Eternity), Edgar Buchanan (Shane), and Jack Elam (Once Upon a Time in the West).

The Killers (1964) - Imprint Collection #675
Originally produced as the first-ever made-for-TV movie, The Killers was deemed too violent for broadcast and pivoted to a theatrical release, which cemented its future as a stone-cold neo-noir classic and a favourite for Siegel fanatics.
Starring Lee Marvin and Clu Gulager as the titular hitmen duo, alongside screen legends John Cassavetes, Angie Dickinson, and Ronald Reagan (playing his one and only screen villain in his final role before entering politics), The Killers was based on the classic short story by Ernest Hemingway.
When professional hitmen Charlie and Lee execute their latest contract, they are unsettled by one thing: their mark made no attempt to run. Haunted by his strange resignation, Charlie sets out to unravel the truth behind Johnny's past, following a trail of flashbacks involving a bewitching femme fatale, a million-dollar heist, and a ruthless mob boss.
Painstakingly restored from its original camera negative, The Killers is a colourful, “cynical Rat Pack cool” (New York Times) production, which Lee Marvin himself named his favourite film.

Madigan (1968) - Imprint Collection #676
Sound the sirens for propulsive thriller Madigan, seeing Hollywood legends Richard Widmark and Henry Fonda pitted against each other, with critically acclaimed direction from Don Siegel that marked a turning point in the evolution of the American police procedural.
Veteran detectives Madigan and Bonaro bungle the arrest of a dangerous murder suspect, allowing him to escape from his Spanish Harlem apartment with their guns. With 72 hours to bring him in, they race against the clock through the streets of New York.
A hard-hitting tale of crime and conscience, with a screenplay co-written by Abraham Polonsky and Howard Rodman - both of whom had been blacklisted during the McCarthy era and wrote here under pseudonyms - Madigan was praised by critics and is now recognised as a key precursor to Siegel’s Dirty Harry (1971) just three years on.

- 1080p High-definition presentation on Blu-ray
- NEW Audio commentary by author and critic Matthew Asprey Gear

Death of a Gunfighter (1969) - Imprint Collection #677
The first film to ever credit direction to fictitious pseudonym Allen Smithee, Western drama Death of a Gunfighter suffered a tumultuous production period, seeing original director Robert Totten replaced by Don Siegel a year into production.
In the turn-of-the-century Texas town of Cottonwood Springs, marshal Frank Patch is an old-fashioned lawman in a town determined to modernise. When he kills a man in self-defence, the town council moves to force him out. Stubborn, unbending, and filled with knowledge of the town’s dark secrets, Patch refuses to go quietly.
Based on Lewis B. Patten's novel of the same name, the film also stars Lena Horne (The Wiz), Carroll O'Connor (Point Blank), and John Saxon (Enter the Dragon), and earned three-and-a-half out of four stars from critic Roger Ebert.
Special Features and Technical Specs:
- 1080p High-definition presentation on Blu-ray
