Vince Vaughn, Anne Heche and Joaquin Phoenix star in this tense, twisted thriller of passion and betrayal. Three buddies are living the life in Malaysia, full of drugs, sex and freedom. Sheriff (Vaughn) and Tony (David Conrad) return to America, but Lewis (Phoenix) stays on. Two years later, a lawyer arrives in New York with an ultimatum for Sheriff and Tony. Lewis is in a prison cell—sentenced to die because of them. The only way he can be saved is if Sheriff and Tony return to serve three years in a living hell.
