STREET TRASH (1987): Liquor store owner Ed finds several bottles with the inscription "Viper" in the basement – and sells the supposed booze as a bargain to the fucked-up characters who live in a nearby junkyard. While the crazy junkyard owner Bronson wants to get rid of his unpleasant "lodgers" like the two brothers Fred and Kevin, "Viper" turns out to be deadly devil's work. The fast-acting poison turns consumers into veritable puddles of slime... STREET TRASH (2024): In the year 2050, brutal riots between the impoverished population and the police dominate everyday life in Cape Town. In the process, the drug addict Ronald and his foster daughter Alex get on the trail of a conspiracy by Mayor Mostert. He wants to "cleanse" his metropolis of homeless people – and to do so he wants to use the corrosive poison gas "V", which is based on a liquid that decades ago in New York left only puddles of mucus behind by people. Together with numerous insurgents, Ronald and Alex take on the fight against the overpowering government troops.
